Skin Rejuvenation

What kind of problems does skin rejuvenation help?

Skin rejuvenation treatments with the eMatrix Two system offer both surface and deep-down skin benefits. Skin rejuvenation helps with:

  • Sun damage
  • Skin tone and discoloration
  • Skin texture
  • Fine lines
  • Deeper wrinkles
  • Skin laxity
  • Acne scars
  • Large pores

Dr. Johnson discusses your goals for the eMatrix Two treatment with you ahead of time so she can tailor the treatment to give you the best results.

How does eMatrix Two skin rejuvenation work?

eMatrix Two skin rejuvenation at Rejuvenation For Her is a combination of two treatments: eMatrix skin resurfacing and Sublime™ skin contouring.

The eMatrix skin resurfacing is fractional radiofrequency energy that resurfaces your skin with only minimal damage to your upper skin layers.

eMatrix creates pinpoint holes in the upper skin, without disturbing most of the skin surface. This helps remove damaged skin while triggering the skin cells below to regenerate and move up to the surface.

Sublime contouring uses both bipolar radiofrequency and infrared power to heat your deep skin layer, which generates collagen and elastin. This creates new skin support, to replace the collagen and elastin that you've lost due to aging.

The two treatments combine to give you youthful, glowing, and fully rejuvenated skin.

When will I get results from skin rejuvenation treatments?

You can see results after only one treatment, with improved results over time. The collagen and elastin modeling is usually evident within a few months, and your skin can improve for up to a year.

How many skin rejuvenation treatments do I need?

It varies by individual, but most patients get a total of three treatment sessions, which occur at four to six-week intervals. Dr. Johnson designs a skin rejuvenation plan for you.

What is recovery like after skin rejuvenation?

After treatment, you can expect some redness and swelling for anywhere from a few hours to a couple of days. You develop tiny crusts on your skin surface, which is the old damaged skin shedding.

You can typically hide this with makeup if desired. The dead skin sheds within a couple of weeks. There’s no downtime, so you can resume your regular activities when ready.
